An elderly woman has died in a house fire in Alexander City.
Alexander City Fire Chief Reese McAlister has confirmed to Alabama News Network that a 95-year-old woman died in the fire on Old Dark Road.
There’s no word on what caused the fire. It started around 1 a.m.
