Troy Woman Killed in Pike County Crash

A Troy woman has been killed in a single-car crash in southern Pike County.

Alabama State Tropers say 33-year-old Charlisa Brunson was driving a car that left the road and hit an embankment. Investigators say she was not using a seat belt, was thrown out of the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck happened at about 1:50 this morning on U.S. Highway about three miles south of Brundidge.
