Mixed Reaction to Allen being Named Montgomery Public Schools Supt.

Montgomery Public School Board voted unanimously Tuesday to accept interim superintendent Margaret Allen as the permanent superintendent.
Allen was the only official candidate for the position as of Tuesday.
We had mixed reaction on Facebook to Allen being chosen.
Carolyn McQueen says..”Yes, she is an excellent choice!”
Jessica Taylor says.. “Nope. Just like Thompson!!”
Ron Thomas says.. “Nope, too important of a job just to give to anybody”
Brian Hicks says.. “Rubber Stamp for Mediocrity”
Mike Williams says… “Ms. Allen seems to have excellent rapport with teachers and other administrators. She knows the system and she has been in the community. Once policies are in place to avoid previous mistakes, the system should run itself.”
Allen signed her contract, which is effective immediately.
