Miss Alabama Chandler Champion hit the books at the F. Scott and Zelda Fiztgerald museum today.

Champion read to a crowd of over 20 people, and the book she read from was none other than Zelda’s novel, “Save Me the Waltz” a book she wrote part of in montgomery while scott was training with the army during world war one in 1918, and something champion says helps to celebrate alabama’s history.

The event was part of Champion’s Miss Alabama platform: “reading is believing, don’t stop believing”.
