A Decent Rain Event Ahead

We’re about to see some much needed rain move into the area this week. Tropical moisture streams into the area overnight and throughout the day Wednesday. An area of low pressure will help increase the moisture flow and we see rainy conditions Wednesday afternoon into early Thursday morning. Rainfall amounts will range between 1 to 2 inches for the area. Temps will manage the upper 60s to lower 70s for highs. Looks like we will be in between systems Thursday and rain chances back off. We could see breaks in the clouds and temps respond with highs in the lower to mid 70s. Another surge of gulf moisture along with a frontal boundary will team up to bring in more rain for Friday. This round will stick around into Friday evening but out of here early Saturday morning. High pressure will return along with sunshine and breezy conditions. Temps should manage to reach the mid to upper 70s for highs. Sunday is looking nice and sunny as well. Cooler air will have arrived and highs are only expected to reach the lower 70s. The mainly sunny and dry conditions are likely to stick around for the first half of next week.
