Reeltown falls to Fyffe in the 2A State Championship

The undefeated Reeltown Rebels faced off with the 13-1 Fyffe Red Devils in the 2A AHSAA State Championship Game.
To end the first half of play, the Red Devils entered the locker room with a 28-12 lead over the Rebels. Fyffe continued to hang onto the lead throughout the game and went on to win the 2A State Title by a final score of 43-24.
“I am so proud of our seniors. This has been a special group. They are great
ambassadors for our goal. They didn’t quit tonight and played till the last whistle,” says Reeltown Head Coach Matt Johnson.
The Rebels will finish the 2023 season with a 13-1 overall record and as the 2A AHSAA Runners-up.
