Man killed in Lowndes County crash

A man has been killed in a tractor-trailer truck crash in Lowndes County.

Alabama State Troopers say 39-year-old Kevin Guilford of Abbeville was driving the truck, which left the road, hit a parked commercial vehicle, then a building before catching fire. Investigators say Guilford was not using a seat belt, was thrown from the wreckage and was killed.

The wreck happened at about 11:50 this morning on U.S. Highway 80, about five miles west of Montgomery.
