Tuskegee man charged with shooting into vehicle on Interstate 85
Auburn police say a Tuskegee man has been arrested on a charge that he shot into an occupied vehicle on Interstate 85.
Auburn police say they, with help from Opelika police, arrested 24-year-old Isaiah Donta Rose. He has a felony warrant charging him with shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Investigators say Opelika police responded to a call of someone shooting into an occupied vehicle today. Officers say they met with a victim who said someone fired the shot while driving behind them.
Opelika police found Rose near the 1100 block of Columbus Parkway. During the investigation, it was determined that the shot was fired in the jurisdiction of the Auburn Police Department.
Rose was taken to the Lee County Jail and held on an $50,000 bond.
