Man charged with sex crimes involving teenage girl in Pike County

A man has been charged with sex crimes involving a teenage girl in Pike County.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year-old Ricky Faulkner, who has a Troy address, has been arrested on two counts of sex abuse in the first degree. Investigators say the victim was 14 years old at the time of the first offense and 15 by the time of the second count.

Faulkner’s bond is $100,000.

The sheriff’s office says Faulkner is the father of Lela Faulkner, who was reported missing on July 4, 2016. Investigators say this missing persons case remains a high priority.
