Pike Road Schools unveils new mobile app
Pike Road Schools have made a new and more convenient way for parents to keep up with their kid’s schools by creating a mobile app for their school system.
Parents and students can download the Pike Road Schools app to get all of the up-to-date information about their school. They can also customize the app’s notifications to be for one specific school or multiple schools. These notifications can range from the school’s cafeteria menu for the day or if the school will be closed because of severe weather.
“Another thing that our app allows us to do is to put that information right there to where it’s very convenient for a parent to find what they need to find very quickly,” said Ryan Kendall, Director of Human Resources, Communications, and Technology. “So, they go to the app and find that cafeteria menu or the number they need to call to get in touch with transportation or the button they need to click to report whatever it is they need to report, it’s all there and very easy to find.”
The Pike Road Schools app is now available to download for iOS and Android devices.
