Valley Grande man dies in Dallas County crash

A single-vehicle crash has claimed the life of a Valley Grande man.

Cpl. Reginald King with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells Action 8 News the fatal crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on U.S. 80 near the 71 mile marker, approximately 10 miles west of Selma.

Cpl. King said 62-year-old James B. Tucker was fatally injured when the pickup truck he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
