Explosive Device Found at Clanton Middle School
A 12-year-old student is in custody after being accused of bringing a homemade explosive to school in Clanton.
Police say a explosive device was found this morning at Clanton Middle School. The device was reported to school officials by another student.
A photo was released that shows a small Play-Doh container with what appears to be fuses coming out of the lid. The school was locked down briefly, but the device didn’t go off and no one was injured.
