Pedestrian killed in hit & run accident in Montgomery identified

23hitandrunwreckMontgomery police are investigating a fatal hit and run accident.

Major Saba Coleman tells Action 8 News that officers and fire medics were called Friday, January 5, around 10:22 p.m. to the 1100 block of West South Boulevard in response to a single-vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

Once they arrived, they found the pedestrian, 46-year-old Keith Randle, of Montgomery, with fatal injuries. Randle was pronounced dead on the scene.

Major Coleman said the drive fled the area prior to MPD’s arrival.
