Holtville High School has named Cory Lee their next Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. Lee takes over the football program from former Head Coach Jason Franklin.

For the 2023 season, Lee was the Defensive coordinator at Pike Road High School but he has also spent time coaching at Prattville High School, Baldwin County High School, and Pinson Valley High School.

The 2024 high school football season will be Lee’s first as a head coach and he is excited for the challenge in front of him.

“Being in a coordinator role you learn how to handle certain situations obviously in the game, but also outside in situations with players and things like that. But as far as being prepared to be a head coach, you never say that you are, but I’ve been a DC for five or six years now, so a lot of those experiences and building my philosophy and kind of just from being in a leadership role as a coordinator. Now instead of just the defense we’re looking at the whole team,” says Lee.
