Macon County Sheriff To Announce Retirement

 Longtime macon county sheriff David Warren is retiring.

Warren plans to announce his retirement at a news conference Monday afternoon. He has been in law enforcement for over 40 years. For the past 20 years he has served as macon county sheriff. After serving five terms he is now among the longest tenured sheriffs in that county. Warren says he feels privileged and honored to have served the citizens of Macon County.
