90+ Degree Heat Late Week
A very mild air mass continues to hover over the state but it will gradually give way to higher heat and humidity. An area of low pressure to our west is wrapping drier air around its westward extent. This is making it feel very nice for June. The low will move away and we will get back to conditions more typical of this time of the year. You better enjoy it while it last! As the week progresses, the heat and humidity begin to rise. Temps will be closing in on 90 degrees by Friday. We’re looking at the potential for low to mid 90s over the upcoming weekend. Rain chances will be slim to none through the rest of the work week and weekend. A frontal boundary moves into the deep south early next week. This system will return a better chance for rain/storms area wide.
