Warmer And Dry Now But Rain Will Return Soon
We’re still looking at a few more days of dry and mild conditions. There will be lots of sunshine and temps will respond. We expect highs in the mid to upper 60s through Saturday. We could even nudge 70 degrees in a few spots both days. Sunday will be a lot different as a rain maker moves into the deep south.
For now, our weather continues quiet tonight into early Friday. Clouds have moved in and these will slow the cooling overnight. Temps won’t be quite as cold with lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s. We’re back into mostly sunny skies and temps will warm nicely Friday afternoon. Mid to upper 60s are likely areawide.
The warming will continue into Saturday as high pressure sends us a southeasterly wind flow as it drifts eastward. Some spots will approach the 70 degree mark by Saturday afternoon. Along with the warming will come moisture and that spells rain again. An area of low pressure will drop into the deep south leading to rainy conditions for Sunday into Monday. Looks like all rain with no severe storm threat this time around. High pressure will return and we’re trending dry and mild again through most of next week.
