Troy adds twelve players on National Signing Day

After gaining 15 signees and 12 mid-year transfers during the December signing day, the Trojans gained twelve more student athletes during the February signing day.
“We could not be more humbled and thankful for our time here,” Parker said. “This staff has come in at different times in these last six weeks and hit the ground literally running, going from high schools to junior colleges all across the great state of Alabama and neighboring states to tie in a class we feel strongly about.
“The class is filled with great kids and great families,” Parker said. “We wanted to pull from all three buckets (high school, junior college, transfers). It is critical for us to recruit high school kids, especially in such a talent-rich area we’re in, in the state of Alabama. The junior college market is always going to be good to us, and we have strong ties to it with a couple of the guys we have on our staff, and then four-year transfers will always be a piece of it.”
Nearly half of the signing class is already on campus with 19 of the 39 enrolled for the spring term.
Spring practice begins for the Trojans on March 19th and the T-Day game takes place on April 27th.
