Pike Road leaders, residents discuss growth plans
Pike Road leaders and residents came together to discuss plans for growth in their community.
At a meeting Thursday night, town leaders talked about their vision for Pike Road including land use, economic development, infrastructure and parks and recreation.
They talked about plans for the next 20 years, which will serve as a guideline for development.
“Pike Road has been so blessed because we started from scratch,” Mayor Gordon Stone told Action 8 News. “To be able to plan for our future and to be able to execute that plan. I’m honored to be able to look at those early planning documents and show all the ways we’ve stayed true. This is just the next step in the evolving of the planning process.”
