Mammograms Not Preventing Some Breast Cancer Deaths
A new 25 year Canadian study finds annual mammography screening in women ages 40 to 59 does not cut breast cancer deaths. Â
Researchers suggest mammograms are not any better than physical examinations or usual care.
The American College of Radiology calls the research “a misleading analysis based on the deeply flawed and widely discredited Canadian National Breast Screening Study.”
