Man Hit In The Face With A Bat

 

William Paul Hendrix Jr. is in custody on assault charges after Greenville Police say he got into an argument with another man over a woman.

 

Investigators say the fight happened at a house on South Conecuh Street; escalating when they say Hendrix picked up a bat and hit the victim at least twice in the face. The victim was taken to the hospital and released with non life threatening injuries.

 

Hendrix is being held at the Butler County Jail on $10,000 bond.
