Cold Sunday night, warming up with sunshine this week
Sunday was a cool and breezy day across central and south Alabama. However, sunshine was back in the sky. That resulted in warmer temperatures than Saturday. High temperatures were in the 50s Sunday, versus the 40s we experienced Saturday. Some clouds were mixed with sunshine Sunday. However, Sunday night looks mainly clear and cold. Lows range from the upper 20s to low 30s.
Temperatures trend warmer this week. Monday through Wednesday look mostly sunny and rain-free. Temperatures trend up from the low 60s Monday afternoon to low 70s Wednesday afternoon. Thursday could be even warmer, with highs in the mid 70s. However, rain appears possible late Thursday into Friday. Some showers associated with a front push to our southeast late Friday, with sunshine and another cool-down next weekend.
