$1,000 reward offered to help solve 2023 Montgomery homicide

Central Alabama CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward in the hopes of solving a man’s murder.

Investigators say on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at about 11:45PM, officers and fire medics were called to a hospital where shooting victims were being treated.

Police say 18-year-old Willie Grant was pronounced dead. Two juveniles suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds.

Police say they shooting happened in the 3800 block of Chatwood Street. That’s near Woodley Road, south of the bypass.

Despite working on the case for more than a year, investigators need your help in finding out who killed Grant.
