8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMER ALERT: Hyundai is recalling nearly 92,000 Genesis models due to a fire risk.

The recall includes certain 2015-2016 Hyundai Genesis models as well as 2017-2019 G80 and G90 cars and 2019 Genesis G70 cars.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says water may enter the starter solenoid and cause an electrical short, which can spark a fire in the engine compartment. It can happen while the car is parked or being driven.

Dealers will make repairs for free. Until then, owners are asked to park outside and away from buildings.
