A Winter Chill Returns

Our spring-like warmth is out and we’re back into winter for a few days. It’s going to be an active weather pattern going forward. Colder air returns and we have more rain working into the area heading into late week

In the meantime, a frontal boundary moves east of us tonight. Northwest winds behind the boundary will usher in colder air overnight. Temps will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s for lows. Thursday will be a chilly day with temps only managing upper 50s to lower 60s for highs. Another surge of moisture will begin working into the area late Thursday afternoon. This will be the beginning of another round of rain that soaks the area Friday. It will be a chilly rain with rainfall potential reaching up to an inch in some spots.

The Friday rain maker will move out just in time of the weekend. Our sky will stay mostly cloudy but we’re expecting less rain activity Saturday and Sunday. Showers will be around but the air mass will modify and we’re back into the 70s for highs.
