A Few Rounds Of Rain And Storms This Week
A couple rounds of rain will move through the state this week. One comes through Tuesday and the other Friday into Saturday. Both will bring rain and storms but the late week system will be a bit stronger. We will have the potential for a few strong to possibly severe storms late Friday and during Saturday.
In the meantime, rain and a few storms will enter southwest Alabama later in the evening. This area of rain/storms will advance eastward throughout the night. Temps will hover in the lower 60s for overnight lows. More rain and even a few storms will move through our area during Super Tuesday. You should pack a rain jacket or make sure the umbrella is handy. Temps will manage to top out in the upper 60s to lower 70s for highs Tuesday.
We’re in between systems most of Wednesday and all of Thursday. These two days will trend drier and warmer. Temps will climb into the mid to upper 70s Wednesday and we could even snag the 80 degree mark Thursday. It’s a nice warm up before we get back into an active weather pattern. More rain and storms will be coming back at us late week and going into the weekend.
Our weekend will start out with rain and storms advancing through the area. Some of the storms could even be strong to possibly severe Saturday. It’s early in the week but something we’re monitoring. We will keep you posted!
