A Wet Night But Dry And Warmer Days Ahead

We’re in the midst of our first round of rain this week with the other coming through Friday into Saturday. Both will bring rain and storms but the late week system will be a bit stronger. We will have the potential for very heavy rainfall along with a few strong to possibly severe storms late Friday and during Saturday.

In the meantime, it’s looking cloudy and wet tonight. Rain and a few storms will move across the area during the evening and overnight. Light to moderate rain along with a few heavy downpours are possible. Temps will hover in the 60s for overnight lows.

We’re in between systems most of Wednesday and all of Thursday. These two days will trend drier and warmer. Temps will climb into the mid 70s Wednesday and we could even snag the 80 degree mark Thursday. It’s a nice warm up before we get back into an active weather pattern. More rain and storms will be coming back at us late week and going into the weekend.

Our weekend will start out with rain and storms advancing through the area. Some of the storms could even be strong to possibly severe Saturday. Rainfall could be rather heavy with 2 to 4 inches possible. The rain will depart later Saturday and it’s looking sunny but a lot cooler Sunday into Monday of next week.
