Georgiana Throws Parade to Celebrate State Championship
Royal blue filled the town as Georgiana threw a parade to celebrate the town’s first ever state championship. The Georgiana Panthers boys basketball took home the 1A trophy on February 29th. There was lots of fun for residents, from the Carver High School band to horses to kids throwing candy. The parade started at Hank Williams Museum and ended at Hank Williams Pavilion. The Panthers say they’re proud of their hard work paying off and thankful for the community’s relentless support.
