Zoo Weekend festivities at the Montgomery Zoo canceled due to rain

Officials with the Montgomery Zoo say due to the overnight rainfall and today’s forecast of more wet weather, all Zoo Weekend festivities for Sunday have been canceled.

Despite the cancellation, the regular zoo operations will remain open for the day. The zoo hours will run from 9am to 5pm with the last entry at 4pm.

Zoo Weekend is an annual fundraiser for the Montgomery Zoo. This year’s proceeds will be used towards a new reptile facility.
