MCSO deputy injured in single-vehicle crash
A deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is in critical condition after being involved in crash Wednesday night.
Sheriff Derrick Cunningham tells Action 8 News that 21-year-old Jermyius Young was involved in the single-vehicle crash around 7:00 p.m. in the 4500 block of Hobbie Road.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says Young was on duty and driving his patrol vehicle at the time of the crash.
Young was taken to Baptist Hospital South with critical injuries.
ALEA is investigating the accident.
