Two people are under arrest in Tallapooosa County after investigators say they found cocaine and prescription drugs in their home.
Tallapoosa County Sheriff Jimmy Abbett says the arrests come after months of surveillance and undercover work by the county’s narcotics task force and other local law enforcement, including the Dadeville Police Department, New Site Police Department, Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Department, Alexander City Housing Authority, and the Alexander City Special Response Group.
Preston McAdory is charged with distribution of a controlled substance and trafficking in cocaine, among other charges. Tiana McAdory is charged with assault, disorderly conduct, obstructing a governmental operation and resisting arrest.
Investigators on “Operation Permanent Press” say they seized 50 grams of cocaine, prescriptions and more than $1,500 in cash.
