MIllbrook Hosts Annual Mardi Gras Parade

Millbrook residents let the good times roll in a Mardi Gras celebration. That was the theme for Saturday’s parade, where thousands of people showed up to eat moon pies and gather festive beads. Our own Marcy Novak was a guest judge at the smokehouse bar-b-que tasting competition on main street where the parade rolled through town. Saturday’s parade was the ninth for the city with a new organization. The Millbrook revelers, which was founded just to bring a taste of Mardi Gras to Millbrook.
