Auburn’s Megan Schofill set to compete in the Chevron Championship

Auburn Women's Golf

Auburn fifth year season Megan Schofill is set to compete in the Chevron Championship this week at Jack Nicklaus Signature Course at The Club at Carlton Woods. The Chevron Championship is the first of five majors for women’s golf this season.

This week’s 132 player field includes 34 major champions such as Lydia Ko and Lilia Vu and 71 LPGA Tour winners. Schofill earned her exemption back in August when she won the 2023 U.S. Women’s Amateur and is one of six amateurs in the field this week.

Schofill heads to the Chevron Championship off of a top-20 individual finish in stroke play at the SEC Championship. For the Tigers this season Schofill has a 71.44 scoring average and four top-10 individual finishes.

For round one Schofill will be paired with Maria Fassi and Hira Naveed for a 4:43 a.m. CT tee time off the 10th tee.
