Above Average Temps Sticking Around For A While

It’s spring but our weather is feeling a bit more summer-like these days. High pressure has taken control and that’s leading to a rather warm weather pattern.  Temps will climb to summer-like readings.  Lower 80s are the average highs for this time of the year but we’re managing the upper 80s to lower 90s over the next several days.

We see occasional weather systems heading our way but weakening as they do.  Some will help ignite showers and storms at times. We don’t see it as a washout but there may be times rain rain activity impacts your outdoor plans.  Most showers or t-storms will be scattered and during the afternoon heating hours. Temps will continue rather warm with highs in the mid to upper 80s and lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Looking ahead into early next week, we expect several days of summer-like warmth as temps top out in the upper 80s to lower 90s. There will be lots of sunshine and rain chances staying rather low. It could very well be that following weekend before we see a break in the 90 plus degree heat.
