Spring Chicken Festival celebrated in Pike Road
Hundreds of people showed up at SweetCreek Farm Market in Pike Road for its 5th annual Spring Chicken Festival on Saturday.
A total of 65 vendors showcased many Alabama-made products. There was also plenty of music along with live chickens and ducks, food and arts and crafts.
Over the past five years, the Spring Chicken Festival has established itself as a tradition in Pike Road.
Sweet Creek Farm Market will also have a pumpkin festival on the last weekend in October. If you want to be a vendor, you can go to its social media sites.
