ACTION 8 UPDATE: Five people charged in Tuskegee homicide

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Five people have been charged in the shooting death of a juvenile in Tuskegee earlier this year.

Tuskegee Police Chief Jennifer Jordan and District Attorney Mike Segrest say that these five suspects have been arrested on charges of reckless murder:

Takeo Malikque Potts, 19, Tallassee
Antonio Danyel Terry Jr., 19, Tallassee
Kentravious L. Melton, 23, Tallassee
Travion Demarr Johnson, 19, Tuskegee
A juvenile male, 17, Tallassee

As Action 8 News has reported, the shooting happened on the night of February 16 at the intersection of Auburn Street and William Street. The victim was Jeffrey “Buck” Thompson.

Segrest said the investigation is still active may result in additional charges against the current suspects and others.
