Trinity Presbyterian School names Chad Mansmann their next head baseball coach.

“We are excited that Chad Mansmann will be the next Head Coach of the Trinity baseball program. He is a Christ-like leader who excels at building strong relationships with young athletes. Chad is dedicated to fostering an environment where players can thrive, and he is focused on setting high expectations and guiding the team with integrity. We are confident that Coach Mansmann will lead our baseball program into a bright and successful future,” said Suzanne Satcher, Head of School.

Mansmann is a graduate of Edgewood Academy Class of 2007. During his years at Edgewood Mansmann was a part of their 2004 and 2006 baseball state championship teams. Mansmann went on to play baseball at the collegiate level at Lurleen B. Wallace Community College where he was on the 2009 World Series team and then went on to finish his career at Auburn University at Montgomery.

Following college, Mansmann became the Junior Varsity Baseball Coach at Edgewood Academy. Following his time coaching at Edgewood, he made the move to Pike County High School where he was the Junior Varsity Football Coach and Junior Varsity Baseball Coach, and ultimately, the Varsity Baseball Coach. His most recent stop before joining the staff at Trinity was at Marbury High School where he served as the Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach and Assistant Middle School Football Coach.

Then in 2023 Mansmann came on staff at Trinity as an Assistant Football Coach and an Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach where he had the opportunity to be mentored by Hall of Fame coach and legend, Ken Whittle.

“I was excited to have the opportunity to work with Coach Mansmann this year. I witnessed his dedication to our players, our program, and our school. It is evident that his priority is to be a witness for Christ and to instill that love for Christ in his players. I feel confident that Trinity’s baseball program is in great hands with Coach Mansmann at the helm. He and his family are a tremendous asset to Trinity,” said Coach Ken Whittle.

Mansmann’s extensive experience in coaching at various levels made him the clear leader among candidates for the head coaching position. “Coach Mansmann has a commitment to excellence as well as a commitment to continual improvement. He strives to make those around him better every day! He is passionate about leading a championship culture at Trinity. Most importantly, Coach Mansmann is committed to impacting young people’s lives for Christ,” said Brian Seymore, Athletic Director.
