Memorial Day 2024: Ceremony at National Cemetery in Montevallo
The Alabama National Cemetery held its 16th annual Memorial Day ceremony in Montevallo.
Monday, the public paid their respects and honored the memories of those who are buried there to never forget the service and the sacrifices they made for this country.
A flyover was performed by the Patriot Flyers before the ceremony, and it ended with a cannon salute by the Alabama division of re-enactors. The Alabama National Cemetery averages 20,000 visitors a year.
