2024 Red Tails Classic and FCS Kickoff game times announced
The kickoff time for the 2024 Red Tails Classic and FCS Kickoff Game at Cramton Bowl have been set.
The 10th annual FCS Kickoff Game will take place on Saturday August 24th at 7:00 and will be televised on ESPN. This year’s game will feature Southeast Missouri State and North Alabama.
The FCS Kickoff game dates back to 2014 and the first three games took place on campus sites. The game was brought to Montgomery by ESPN Events in 2017. This is the 7th year the game has been played at Cramton Bowl.
North Alabama will be making their second consecutive appearance at the game. Last year the Lions dropped a 17-7 decision to Mercer. This will be Southeast Missouri State’s first appearance in the game.
The 4th annual Red Tails Classic has been set for Sunday September 1st at 7:00 and will be televised on ESPNU. This year’s Red Tails Classic will feature Johnson C. Smith and Tuskegee.
This will be the Golden Tiger’s fourth consecutive appearance in the Red Tails Classic and the first appearance for Johnson C. Smith. The Tigers faced Fort Valley State in 2021, 2022 and 2023.
