Montgomery police searching for suspect in theft of commercial vehicle

Montgomery police need your help finding the suspect wanted in the felony theft of a commercial vehicle and the items it was carrying.

Police say sometime between May 31 and June 1, the person stole the  vehicle that contained items of value from the 5400 block of Atlanta Highway. That is near the Carol Villa Shopping Center at the intersection of Eastern Boulevard.

Police say the vehicle has since been recovered in the area of Alabama River Parkway and Jackson Ferry Road. But they say the suspect stole property from the commercial vehicle and left the scene.

Investigators released a video of the suspect seen stealing the vehicle and attempting to remove the security surveillance camera from the vehicle.
