Montgomery man killed in Lowndes County crash

A Montgomery man has been killed after crashing the car he was driving in Lowndes County.

Alabama State Troopers say 36-year-old David Comer was killed just after midnight this morning. State troopers say the car he was driving left the road, hit a utility pole and a ditch before overturning. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck happened on U.S. Highway 80, about eight miles north of Hayneville.
