ACTION 8 UPDATE: Victim identified in Tuskegee fatal shooting
ACTION 8 UPDATE:
Tuskegee police have identified the victim killed in a shooting that left one dead and three others injured.
Tuskegee Police Chief Jennifer Jordan tells Action 8 News that 26-year-old Kendarius Beason, of Tuskegee, was fatally injured in a shooting around 1 a.m. Saturday at a gas station on East Martin Luther King Highway.
District Attorney for the Fifth Judicial Circuit Mike Segrest identified the gas station as Josh’s Store.
Chief Jordan said 3 other males were also wounded. Two of the victims were taken to the hospital from life-threatening injuries.
Action 8 has learned that the third shooting victim is a fire marshal with the City of Tuskegee. Chief Jordan said he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.
No arrests have been made yet.
