Rain Chances Fairly Slim This Week

We’re closing in on the summer solstice (official start to summer) and it’s feeling every bit of it.  Temps are around 90 degrees for highs and lows in the lower 70s. That’s all about average for this time of the year.  It’s something we will need to get use to because there’s plenty more of this to come.

In the meantime, warm and humid conditions are the rule tonight into early Tuesday.  Temps will only fall into the lower 70s for overnight lows. We do pick up more of an easterly wind flow starting Tuesday and that will bring a few changes with it. There will be fewer if any showers around and the temps come down just a bit. Highs will hover in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees.

The remainder of the week is looking rather quiet weatherwise.  We expect lots of sunshine with rain chances continuing very low. Temps will gradually climb and we’re back in the lower to mid 90s for highs by late week.

Our weekend is setting up to be hot with highs in the mid 90s and rain chances creeping up just a little. These would be pop up afternoon showers or storms.  Some of you won’t see anything at all and that’s typical for this time of the year.
