Hot & Humid With Daily Rounds Of Showers/Storms
We will remain in an active weather pattern going into the upcoming weekend. Periods of showers and t-storms are likely each day. As a result, we should see temps come down a bit due to clouds and rain activity but it will still feel hot. We expect heat indices to reach 100 to 105 degrees.
In the meantime, our sky will be mostly cloudy with temps hovering in the mid 70s overnight. A shower or two can’t be ruled out as well. Another round of showers and a t-storms will move through our area Friday. Temps are expected to reach the lower to mid 90s for highs. That’s still hot and it will be rather humid as well. Heat indices (what it feels like) will be above 100 degrees!
The upcoming weekend will continue to be hot and humid with highs in the mid 90s. We do expect there will be periods showers and storm each day. Some of the storms will be capable of heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and gusty winds. Not everyone will see them but most will probably welcome any liquid relief from these sweltering June temperatures!
