Very hot, humid weather with little rain continues through July 4th
July is off to a very hot and humid start across central and south Alabama. Temperatures soared into the upper 90s in west Alabama Tuesday. Meanwhile, heat indices were as high as 110° there. A heat advisory expired for west Alabama Tuesday evening. However, another heat advisory covers nearly all of our area Wednesday. Afternoon heat indices peak at or above 105°.
