Very hot, humid weather with some showers, storms this weekend
Very hot and humid weather continues Friday across central and south Alabama. Another heat advisory covers all of our area. Afternoon heat indices peak near or above 105°. Air temperatures warm into the mid 90s in many locations before showers and storms form during the afternoon. Compared to recent days, the rain coverages looks higher Friday.
Rain chances look a bit lower, but not zero this weekend. Meanwhile, Saturday and Sunday still look very hot, with highs in the mid 90s. Heat advisories may cover at least part of our area each day. Next week begins very hot, with high temperatures still in the mid 90s Monday and Tuesday. The rain chance increase again each day, then decreases during the latter half of the week.
