Fireworks light up the sky in Dallas Co. for 4th of July celebration

The Independence Day celebration — is like Christmas in July.

It brings families and friends together to enjoy good food — and hot fun in the summertime.

The Fourth of July celebration is an annual American tradition — that just isn’t complete — without fireworks.

Anna Carter says fireworks have been flying off the shelves at USA Fireworks — since it opened two weeks ago.

“It’s a way to get families together. It’s a way to celebrate America’s freedom. And them kids have a ball. The big kids, us adults, we want to have just as much fun as the little kids. So we just, everybody goes to see the big fireworks shows and then they have their own at home,” said Carter.

And remember — always handle fireworks with care.

Never point or throw fireworks at another person.

And never allow young children to handle fireworks.
