Man shot on Woodley Road in Montgomery

A man is recovering after being shot on Woodley Road in Montgomery.

Montgomery Police Department Lt. David Wise told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at about 1:58PM Friday.

Officers were called to the 3600 block of Woodley Road, which is south of the bypass and not far from Peter Crump Elementary School.

Wise says that’s where officers found the man, who suffered what he called a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital for treatment.

No other information has been released.
