Another heat advisory Sunday, elevated rain chances continue

Saturday was yet another very hot July day across central and south Alabama. A heat advisory covered much of our early during the afternoon. Heat indices were near or above 105° at times. Showers and storms became scattered about during the afternoon. That held high temperatures to the upper 80s and low 90s in some locations. Rain tapers off Saturday night. The sky becomes partly cloudy overnight with lows in the mid 70s.

A heat advisory covers part of our area Sunday, including Montgomery county and the capital city. Heat indices peak near 105° in the advisory area.
