Mainly dry, less hot, less humid for the rest of the week
July started on a very hot and humid note. However, the summer heat looks less intense for the rest of this week. A “cold” front moved southeast of our area Wednesday morning. Less humid air filters into our area Wednesday. Despite the drier air, temperatures may only warm into the low 90s during the afternoon. Meanwhile, the chance for rain looks near-zero with a partly cloudy sky.
Thursday and Friday look mainly dry too. Temperatures may trend a bit warmer each day, with highs in the mid 90s. Both days look partly to mostly sunny, with only stray showers or storms each day. Rain chances remain low this weekend, with highs in the mid 90s. Humidity increases next week, which results in higher chances for rain, at least Monday through Wednesday. Meanwhile, temperatures remain hot with highs in the mid 90s.
